Enough Already Saskatchewan (EA)

EA is a program offered by Sexual Assault Services of Saskatchewan. EA seeks to prevent and address sexual harassment in Saskatchewan workplaces. They have self-directed online training for employees on creating a harassment-free workplace as well as information about making a workplace harassment complaint.


HealthLine 811

HealthLine 811 is a free, confidential, 24-hour health and mental health and addictions advice, education and support telephone line. It is staffed by experienced and specially trained Registered Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses and Registered Social Workers. Services are offered in English, with translation available in over 100 languages.

Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)

The Saskatchewan Employment Act prohibits harassment, including sexual harassment, in the workplace. It also prohibits employers from retaliating against workers for making a complaint about a workplace safety issue, including workplace harassment. If you have made a harassment complaint to your employer and feel it has not be adequately addressed or investigated or that your employer has retaliated against you for making the complaint, you can make a complaint to OH&S. OH&S can assist the parties in resolving a workplace harassment situation with or without help from a mediator, whether a complaint is filed or not.

The Shift Project

The Shift Project provides up to 4 hours of free legal advice to people who have experienced workplace sexual harassment at a Saskatchewan workplace. The Shift Project is also available to individuals who are unsure whether what they experienced is workplace sexual harassment. If you have general questions about the law in this area or questions about the Project you can call, email or text the Project whether you want a lawyer or not.

The Shift Project includes a website with plain language legal information about workplace sexual harassment. It covers workplace sexual harassment in unionized workplaces, workplace sexual harassment as a violation of human rights, occupational health and safety’s role in dealing with workplace sexual harassment, workers' compensation for a psychological injury, civil lawsuits based on workplace sexual harassment and when workplace sexual harassment is a crime.

Government of Canada Employment and Social Development Canada

This program seeks to promote and sustain safe workplaces in the federally regulated private sector, the federal public service, Crown corporations and First Nation Band Councils. It aims to ensure federal employers comply with relevant occupational health and safety standards through employer and employee cooperation. There is information on workplace sexual harassment and resolving occurrences of harassment.

Federally regulated employees can file a workplace harassment and violence complaint online.


Government of Canada-Public service and military- workplace sexual misconduct and harassment resolution

Provides resources and services to those who have experienced incidents of sexual misconduct in a Canadian Armed Forces and or a Department of National Defence workplace. Services provided include counselling, self-care materials, training and educational materials.

Indigenous-Focused Services

First Nations and Inuit Hope for Wellness Help Line

The Hope for Wellness Help Line provides immediate help to Indigenous people across Canada. The service offers culturally competent telephone-based crisis intervention counselling and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in English & French. Piwapan Wellness Centre
